Under general direction, supports projects involving prothrombin activation. Additional responsibilities will be developing and running experiments involving structural determinants of prothrombin activation and molecular mechanisms of protein C activation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Executes critical in vivo and in vitro studies in the lab and performs important data analysis.
Collaborates with scientists associated with the lab.
Surveys literature and project development related to the projects in the lab.
Trains and supervises junior lab members; performs supervisory and training duties for junior lab members, particularly undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral students in the lab.
Troubleshoots research projects and instrumentation.
Performs various clerical duties including annual reports and protocols for animal and human studies.
PhD, MD, or related doctoral degree in science, or M.S. with comparable years of work experience; Knowledge involving laboratory techniques or other specialized knowledge is desired; At least 3 years experience.
