Under general direction, this position is responsible for driving innovation and improving delivery effectiveness in an environment of growing demand for data integration across a diverse mix of technologies, protocols, standards and platforms. Plans, develops and maintains the systems and integrations documentation and interfaces with information systems. Serves as liaison for Information Technology Enterprise Services and Operations to the College's business and academic departments, end users and users groups. Interfaces with business unit leaders to ensure IT alignment with business processes and practices.
Leads in conjunction with Information Technology the design and development of innovative integration infrastructure and middleware solutions across the Enterprise technology portfolio.
Design and create data integration architectures, data modeling, roadmaps, and system transition plans to align business, applications, and data integration between systems.
Lead and participate in the actual development of integrations or changes from above design; Manage the development and ongoing support of the solution throughout the life cycle, including testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Remain up to date on emerging technology solutions in the data integration platforms and associated technologies; Conduct on-going review of integration architecture and deployment in order to meet the changing needs of the enterprise portfolio and expectations.
Contribute and ensure all project documentation, including internal documentation related to development/support, is maintained in a standard format that is easily accessible.
Maintains regular communication and works collaboratively with college leads and proactively (troubleshooting) identification of areas for improvement/ enhancement, assessment of the status of current projects, and monitoring the effectiveness of changes implemented. Troubleshoots, analyzes, detects, identifies, and corrects technical problems and deficiencies.
Configures programs and updates application portal pages, schedules, and runs production jobs to ensure data and information is available for making informed decisions.
Oversees preparation of detailed technical specifications for electronic interfaces and exchanges with internal and external applications and systems. Maintains accurate, complete, and current documentation of these solutions.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 5+ years of direct involvement with the design, development and execution of data integration and solutions in a hybrid cloud and on premise environment.
Experience with Ellucian Banner student information system
Experience with Linux/Unix commands and operating system
Programming experience working in an Oracle UNIXERP environment including PL/SQL.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, writing and speaking skills and the ability to communicate effectively within the college environment are required.
