Two NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available in Professor Song’s lab in the Biomedical MR Laboratory, Department of Radiology. The research focus of the Song lab is to develop imaging biomarkers of tissue pathologies (e.g., CNS injuries, solid tumors) for noninvasive diagnosis and treatment effects of diseases. We welcome candidates with a Ph.D. degree in chemistry, mathematics, physics, or biomedical engineering to join our team.
The postdoc is expected to develop novel diffusion MRI models to more accurately reflect CNS (brain and spinal cord) tissue pathologies and to develop learning algorithms for better diagnosis and prognosis of CNS diseases and cancer.
Ph.D. degree in chemistry, mathematics, physics or biomedical engineering.
